Invisible

As I walk through the halls
People push at me
People don't hear what I have to say
and people don't see me

I am invisible to the world
I sometimes wonder what it would be like
To wonder when people notice me
I guess I'll wait

They brush my feelings aside
No one listens to what I have to say
They have no time for someone they can't see
I wish they had time

As I walk in their shadows
I ask myself
What if I walked into the bright sunshine
No, that could never happen

I guess I'll have to be invisible, for now.
